Meet the team that coordinates the work of Break The Silence Sunday (and the cats that keep them sane)…
Rev Moira Finley ~ Creator/Architect/Inventor/Curator/Writer
Moira is a relentlessly persistent advocate for survivors of sexual violence, particularly in church and faith communities; she is also the pastor & teacher of three fabulously amazing congregations in northeast Wisconsin ~ St. John’s UCC Cecil, Trinity UCC Shiocton, and St. John’s UCC Black Creek; she likes to garden, read (mostly Victorian mysteries), do crossword puzzles, learn all the things about everything (except economics) and knit; she often annoys her friends with stories about “the horn of Africa in 1979”; she is happy to be MomMom to Lia & Minerva
Lella Baker ~ Support Pit Bull & Resources Officer
Lella is a native of Illinois who has called too many places home to remember; a graduate of Andover-Newton Theological School, she knew parish ministry was not for her when she made a reference to the Red Sox starting a comeback in the 2004 playoffs, IYKYK. She works as an auditor and is the servant to two cats, Lafitte and Sir Fluffy Butt (SFB)
Helen Rowinski ~ Graphic Art & Logistics Coordinator
Helen is a full-time librarian by day and by night a graphic designer and artist in beautiful Shawano, Wisconsin; she works hard to put food on the table for her two exacting cats ~ Wednesday and Muffin Jane; Helen is committed to the work of BTSS because of her love for her friends, the wish that BTSS had existed for the survivors in her life, and the knowledge that it is saving lives now.
